Custom Spinner in Android

Full source code of Android to create a custom spinner in Android Studio, which will display 1 ImageView and 1 TextView per list item. For this we will create a custom row layout, a model class for your single items and an adapter that extends ArrayAdapter, which then connects our ArrayList of custom objects to the spinner. In this Adapter class we will implement our own constructor and override the getView and getDropDownView methods to display our custom items

activity_main.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    tools:context="tech.codingpoint.customspinnerexample.MainActivity">

    <Spinner
        android:id="@+id/spinner_countries"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_alignParentTop="true"
        android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
        android:layout_marginTop="18dp" />

</RelativeLayout>
